REGIONAL PRODUCT MANAGER

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Product Porfolio Management (Manage product lifecycle from new product launch to the end, including coordination with operation team on phase-in phase-out and termination of products):

 

• Coordinate product development status with the Vietnam & R&D Centre (D-Lab) after design phase is completed;
• Responsible for the rollout of products adapted to local requirements, managing packaging labels, standards, and regulatory requirements;
• Manage pricing in partnership with supply chain and category managers;
• Support the supply chain and product development teams to select the right partners for the production and delivery in terms of quality and location;
• Make sure the products are regulatory registration and liaising with additive suppliers;
• Keep the consistency of the brand image of products with adequate product labels and packages;
• Coordinate with the regional technical training team on the training for new technical specications;
• Responsible for managing the overall quality of each product rollout;
• Coordinate for Motul's Design-to-Cost initiative: Ensuring input from various stakeholders (R&D, Product, Supply Chain) involved are consolidated and disseminated to the responsible functions.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

- At least 8 years experience in the product management technical service functions of automative lubricant products, or/and petroleum additives/chemicals, or/and baseoil;

- At least 3-5 years experience in a regional role;

- Degree holder in Engineering, MBA will be an advantage;

- Experience of B-to-B-to-C is a plus;

- Experience of automotive oil product management is a plus;

- Experience in lubricant/chemical product formulation and test analysis result is a plus;

- Teamwork oriented;

- Proactive, self-starter.
